Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a HR Business Partner who will oversee hiring and developing workforce as our client builds a new manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and support workforce planning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership : Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve organizational goals.
- Talent Management : Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored for the aerospace sector.
- Employee Development : Design and implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career progression within the organization.
- Performance Management : Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Employee Relations : Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and communication strategies.
- HR Policies and Compliance : Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
- Data Analysis : Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Culture and Engagement : Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering, or related fields.
