Our large oil and gas client is seeking a talented and experienced eLearning Developer with 3D modeling and multimedia experience to collaborate with the Senior Instructional Design team and eLearning Lead in creating a series of engaging 15–30-minute eLearning lessons. These lessons are for field technicians operating and maintaining complex systems within the hydrocarbon production and processing industry.
In this role, you will utilize your proficiency in Storyline 360 to create highly interactive and visually rich eLearning content. Collaborating closely with Instructional Designers, you will transform storyboards and scripts into modern, cutting-edge training modules. Your contributions will include developing motion graphics, illustrations, animations, and 3D models that accurately depict textures, movements, and operational functionality, enhancing learners’ comprehension of intricate systems and processes.

Duration: 6 to 7 months with the possibility to extend

Experience Required:
- 10+ years of experience in eLearning development, with a focus on creating media-rich modules that incorporate audio, video, animations, 3D models, and high interactivity.
- Proven experience developing eLearning for complex technical content, particularly in industries such as oil & gas, utilities, energy, or nuclear (required).
- Proficiency in creating 3D models using software like Cinema 4D, Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya is strongly preferred, with the ability to integrate these into multimedia projects.
- Expert-level skills in Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop; must provide your own laptop and software licenses.
- Experience in video and audio production and editing, with the ability to incorporate these elements seamlessly into eLearning content.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills, with the capability to develop multiple lessons simultaneously while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
- Must have excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with Instructional Designers, Project Managers, QA/QC, and other team members to bring storyboards and designs to life with exceptional visual appeal.
- Must be able to provide an outstanding portfolio of eLearning samples demonstrating expertise in multimedia-rich, interactive training modules.
- Highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with a strong commitment to delivering innovative and impactful training solutions.
The pay range is $60 to $65 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
