Job Overview:
We are seeking an Order Entry Admin who will handle quoting and customer inquiries regarding both lubricated and non-lubricated plug valves. This role involves quick response times to inquiries received via phone and email, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The Order Entry Admin also prepares formal quotes when needed, particularly for technical or largescale inquiries, and collaborates with team members for guidance on novel situations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process orders for lubricated and non-lubricated plug valves, including creating sales orders and pick slips.
+ Review customer specifications to ensure valves meet requirements and propose alternatives as needed.
+ Cross-reference competitor valves.
+ Monitor large project shipments for timely delivery.
+ Track commissions for consignment orders.
+ Package and ship materials for emergency situations.
+ Enter new customer information and assign commissions to correct representatives.
+ Invoice daily shipments.
+ Process UPS shipments for representatives and customers.
+ Maintain and update delivery log.
+ Manage return of goods authorizations.
+ Address queries from the shipping and accounting departments.
+ Assist team members with any questions.
+ Host customers visiting the facility.
+ Conduct field assessments on leaking valves and propose solutions.
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience with purchase orders and order entry.
+ Basic customer service skills via phone and email.
