This role focuses primarily on the responsibilities of a Concierge and House Car Driver, ensuring seamless guest experiences from all pinnacles of guest service roles within the property and while navigating the local area.
- Guest Engagement:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, establishing an immediate atmosphere of welcome and professionalism.
- Handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality, accommodating special requests and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Provide accurate and detailed information on hotel services, local attractions, dining, nightlife, and activities.
- Proactively reach out to guests to address any special needs or accommodations during their stay.
- Concierge Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with reservations at local restaurants, concert venues, and other destinations.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local vendors to facilitate guest needs.
- Promptly answer telephones, input messages into the computer, and retrieve mail or packages for guests.
- Provide guidance on directions, hotel operations, and surrounding city information.
- Maintain familiarity with all property functions, assisting in marketing services and facilities to guests.
- Field guest complaints with tact and discretion, using sound judgment to resolve issues effectively.
- Assist with guest safety instructions during emergencies.
- House Car Driver Responsibilities:
- Transport guests to and from destinations within the designated radius, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Comprehend and adhere to traffic regulations and hotel driving policies.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or items.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, schedule periodic servicing, and ensure it is fueled.
- Provide directions, recommendations, and assistance with guest travel needs in a professional manner
- Operational Support:
- Summon front service/bell assistance as needed.
- Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and facsimile machines.
- Collaborate effectively within the Guest Services Team and communicate with other hotel departments.
- Ensure a consistent guest flow through the hotel by providing directional assistance.
- Perform all additional duties assigned by leadership.
- Previous experience in luxury or lifestyle hotel environments (preferred).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and assist with moderate lifting for extended periods.
- Strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written.
