Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS :
  • Current Alabama Driver's License, Commercial Driver's License and insurable with MPS insurance
  • Experience operating school buses
  • Working with the public or school age children
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operates school buses in accordance with Alabama Law and Departmental regulations.
  • Conducts thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned bus and
  • Allow only authorized personnel on the Pick up and discharge passengers only at authorized stops.
  • Maintains discipline of students while on the Reports violations and discrepancies to proper authorities.
  • Prepares and submits reports, time cards, in accordance with Departmental regulations.
  • May assist special need passengers in boarding and exiting the
  • Cleans and services assigned vehicle; attends training and in-service
  • Foster a positive relationship with parents, volunteers and other school
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

RATE: $92.26/per day
