This role will include supporting of the network, desktop and server infrastructure at the head office and offices within the lower mainland.ResponsibilitiesTier 2 – 3 support for desktops and end user devices, network and serversWorking on IT driven initiatives including upgrades, system builds, network security and other projects.Working with other team members for escalation and trainingMaintains a service level for firm’s user base through use of ITSM systems, processes, procedures and policiesParticipating in the IT emergency on-call rotationWriting documentation including SOW, SOP, diagrams, build documentation, KB, checklists, runbooks, project documentationOverall operational administration of the organizations IT infrastructure including: Firewalls, Exchange, Office 365, Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, Citrix Storefront, RSA, Backups, VMware, Azure, Monitoring, SAN, Servers, Networking, Security, VPN, Video Conferencing, HPE Nimble dHCIAdministering with the team the overall security infrastructure including our MDR, EDR, XDR, Firewalls, Security Policies and data governanceOnsite support when required at the firm’s offices across the lower mainlandQualificationsMinimum 3 years in infrastructure support roles working with:o Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Group Policies, SQL, PowerShello Azure, Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Endpoint Defender, Office 365o VMware, vMotion, vSphereo Citrix XenApp Server with NetScaler in an application delivery modelo Networking technologies such as firewalls, switches, routing and wirelesso Server hardware such as SAN, NAS, Servers, (HPE Nimble preferred)o IT security principals and familiarity with the NIST, CIS and MITRE Frameworkso Backup software’s such as Veeam, Zerto, Azure Site Recovery5 years in end user IT support roles supporting users remotely and in-personGraduated from an accredited IT Program or equivalent relevant experiencePrevious experience in a commercial ITSM based ticketing systemPrevious experience with any commercial monitoring systemProficient knowledge in the ITIL frameworkUnderstanding of project management techniquesExceptional analytical, conceptual and problem solving abilityAbility to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organizationStrong knowledge of IT and Network infrastructure design and conceptsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalStrong structured documentation skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioKnowledge of financial applications considered an assetCertifications in any of the following are a big asset: VMware, Aruba, Citrix, Microsoft Azure or 365, CompTIA, ITIL FoundationsWhat We Offer:The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000.
