Job Description

An IT Project Coordinator/Project Control Officer is a vital support role within the technology team, responsible for helping ensure that IT projects are executed in alignment with established standards, policies, and compliance requirements. This role involves assisting with governance, compliance monitoring, risk management, and overall project administration.

Policy Adherence: Ensure that all IT project activities comply with established policies, procedures, and standards. Assist in enforcing governance frameworks by monitoring project deliverables for compliance with these standards.

Compliance Monitoring: Track and document adherence to regulatory and governance requirements, including information security standards. Ensure that projects meet all necessary compliance benchmarks.

Administrative Support: Provide support during internal or external assessments and audits. Track and oversee the satisfactory closure of audit outcomes, ensuring that any findings are addressed promptly.

Risk Management: Collaborate with the risk management team to identify and mitigate project risks according to established standards. Ensure that risk management practices are effectively implemented within the projects.

Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing reports related to governance, administration, finance, and other relevant areas. Maintain thorough records of governance activities, decisions, and any changes to processes and procedures within the technology team.

Governance Training: Support the delivery of training sessions on governance policies and procedures for the project team. Ensure that all team members are aware of, understand, and adhere to governance expectations.

Budget Monitoring: Assist the Project Manager in tracking project expenses and ensuring the projects stay within budget. Help prepare financial summaries and monitor financial compliance.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet required quality standards. Assist in conducting quality checks and coordinate with relevant teams to address any quality-related issues.
