Peoplesoft Financial Systems Analyst - HYBRID (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Filled: 0 Duration: 6 months, FT perm conversion option
Location: Winnipeg, MB, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Hybrid position, 2d/w in office at the nearest location of the following:
Winnipeg, MB/Vancouver, BC/Edmonton, AB/Mont-Royal, Quebec/Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener ON/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Or can work remotely MT hours
Must have skills and experience:
At least 5 years of Information Technology experience with at least 5 years of experience in Peoplesoft Modules. Technical certifications in PeopleSoft modules are considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
Proficient knowledge of PeopleSoft Modules:
- Accounts Payables (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Treasury Management (TR)
- Asset Management and Project Costing
- Peoplesoft Integrations
Proficient in SQL querying and data analysis
- Skilled in creating and executing test cases, performing regression testing, and ensuring overall software reliability.
- Strong understanding of data extraction, table structures, data transformation, and data flow processes
- Ability to adapt to new enterprise system environments
- Ability to identify areas for improved efficiency
Problem solving:
- Ability to develop solutions or alternative approaches to significantly material issues
- Evaluates existing processes to find areas for increased efficiency
- Identifies opportunities for automation of routine tasks
- Develops new approaches to problem solving and assess impacts of solution options with some support from leaders
Communication/Building Relationships:
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication, including active listening and presentation abilities
- Ability to produce easy-to-consume documentation and to effectively present work to a wide audience
Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving:
- Ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and propose actionable solutions
Requirements Gathering and Elicitation:
- Expertise in identifying, prioritizing, and documenting business requirements through various elicitation techniques
Agile Methodologies:
- Experience with agile practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence for collaboration and project tracking

- Strong attention to detail when performing analysis with minimal technical errors
- Ability to identify errors and potential areas of concern

- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple concurrent assignments, both individually and as a leader of a group, in a timely manner, proactively keeping leader informed of progress
