Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Business Analyst - Data Governance team for an initial 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and conversion. This role is 2 days a week in the office in downtown Toronto.
- Requirements gathering: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data governance processes.
- Process Analysis and Documentation: Analyze current practices, identify gaps, and create detailed documentation outlining future procedures in alignment with DCAM practices and industry standards.
- Business Process Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to create, modify, and maintain business processes that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the Data Governance team, consulting firm (KPMG), and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Data Governance Alignment: Ensure all processes and documentation adhere to DCAM principles and data governance best practices.
- Support Project Execution: Assist in the successful completion of the Data Management Capability Assessment Model project, contributing to the overall success of the Data Governance team..
Must-Have Skills:
- 3-5 years as a BA within Data Governance.
Nice to have skills:
- DCAM certification
- SQL Experience *Ideally should have some technical background
- FI experience would be great.
