Allocator
Position Overview:
As our Allocator/Replenishment expert you will report directly to the Manager, Inventory Management and work closely with the Supply Chain team on every aspect of the business to help create a world class shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Allocation and replenishment of the product our customer is looking for in the locations they want it in and when they want it
- A focus on digital fulfillment in the quickest and most cost-efficient manner
- Maintenance and monitoring of stock to sales levels by store to ensure stores maintain a desired in stock and presentation
- Actively improve in-stock rates in all channels and key brands
- Actively involved in the business and partners well with the buyers to ensure orders are allocated in accordance to the strategy and buy plans
- Working directly with Buyers develop allocation strategies that will minimize stock-outs while maximizing inventory productivity
- Analyzes the business on an ongoing basis to understand health of business
- Provide insights and action plan to cross function teams
- Transferring and stock balancing of product to stores from the DC and between stores to maintain desired levels of product inventory, to maintain in-stock and presentation
- Maintenance of Core Basic Line by forecasting monthly sales and inventory at a style level.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum 3+ years in similar role is required
- Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain or Retail Management
- High level of analytical experience
- Excel skills at minimum intermediate level if not expert
- Highly efficient in planning, organizing, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Experience in Merchandising and Supply Chain
