GA Foods is seeking a highly motivated Junior Sales Representative with a strong interest in Managed Care/Medicaid. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in healthcare, food, or nutrition.

This role provides an entry-level opportunity to develop sales skills and contribute to the growth of our sales team. The Junior Sales Representative will support sales activities, generate leads, and help expand our market presence.

Essential Functions Including but not limited to:

• Conduct inside sales activities
• Make cold calls and manage incoming inquiries
• Create warm leads for the sales team by effectively communicating with potential clients
• Identify customer prospects that meet GA Foods criteria
• Contribute to GA Foods business objectives for market growth and customer satisfaction
• Support client-facing activities including conference coordination, webinar support, and email campaigns
• Collect and analyze market data relevant to prospecting
• Assist in developing sales strategies
• Prepare preliminary sales proposals
• Learn and apply consultative selling techniques
• Develop communication and product knowledge skills
• Manage multiple account activities
• Collaborate with internal organizations (Marketing and Sales)
• Assist in conference setup and attendance

Education and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience
• Entry-level position
• Interest in Healthcare, Social Work, Nursing, or Nutrition
• Strong learning orientation
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Demonstrable customer service orientation
• High energy and motivation to learn
• Basic technical aptitude with computer hardware & software
• Occasional travel may be required
