Compliance Manager We are seeking a Compliance Manager with a strong financial services and insurance background, who can translate compliance policies and procedures to various areas of business. This Compliance Manager will be mainly focused on investment advising compliance, which includes the support and growth of all current department projects. What You'll Do: Monitor legislative and regulatory changes relating to insurance, securities, and adviser industry rules. Research changes in the regulatory environment affecting the company's business and make recommendations. Make recommendations and implement procedural changes as needed to ensure compliance. Participate in departmental and interdepartmental groups and committees to lend expertise and direction to ensure all practices and procedures are in compliance. Assist in supervision of overall compliance with internal policies and procedures. Assist in gathering responsive information and responding to regulatory branch exams or request for information/documentation. Qualifications College degree or equivalent plus six years of relevant experience required. Regulatory compliance experience, with at least three years of experience in advisor compliance preferred. Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred. Need to be a (FINRA) registered representative with series 6 or 7 and series 26 or 24 certifications. Strong analytical, decision making, and organizational skills required. Must keep current with existing and pending Federal and state rules and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Access, etc.); familiarity with additional software applications such as web applications, research applications or document management preferred.
