PURPOSE
• Provide hardware, software, and mobile support for business and IT users within the organization primarily in West Des Moines with smaller offices located in other areas.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Install, maintain, and update PC hardware and software
• Test, configure and troubleshoot within one or more of the above areas.
• Perform regular monitoring to ensure efficient operation and accuracy.
• Identifies, escalates, and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate to stakeholders regarding status, quality, risks, and operations.
• Complete and document break/fix incidents and move/add/change requests.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Desktop support experience required.
• Certifications are a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Looking for proficiency in the following areas:
troubleshooting PC hardware issues for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices; understanding of the Windows 10/11 operating system.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities, and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently.
