Overview :
Our client, an industry-leading IAM consulting firm , is seeking a skilled Okta Project Manager for a long-term contract role. The ideal candidate will be Okta-certified and have hands-on experience managing multiple Okta implementations. While a PMP certification is not required, the candidate must demonstrate strong project management skills, a deep understanding of identity and access management (IAM), and expertise in Okta's platform and capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Okta implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, stakeholders, and clients, to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Oversee project milestones, deliverables, and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, status updates, and communication between all stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure that potential project challenges are effectively managed.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance during Okta implementation phases, including configuration, integration, and testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in identity and access management.
Qualifications :
- Okta Certified Professional (or higher-level Okta certifications required).
- Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering multiple Okta implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Okta's platform, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Lifecycle Management, and integrations.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment without the need for formal PMP qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with other IAM platforms (e.g., Ping, Azure AD) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related integrations.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) as they relate to IAM.
