Title: Director of IT
Location: Full-time office based position near the Ho-Ho-Kus area. 1 work from home day offered a week.
Company : Largest publicly held, nationwide distributor and reclaimer of refrigerants in North America.
Responsibilities:
The IT Director reports to the CFO and leads a team of 3-5 people, is responsible for developing the organizations IT vision and creating actionable goals. Work closely with the company’s senior Leadership to improve security, infrastructure, IT systems and network.
- Lead the IT Team with a focus on ERP and the activities of a Business Continuity Program
- Ensure the IT roadmap is current and executing to achieve company goals and milestones on time and within budget
- Oversee IT operations and supervise IT staff and systems
- Develop IT strategy as it relates to the organization's infrastructure (hardware, information systems, security and communication systems)
- Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss
- Consult and influencing stakeholders across the organization to identify technology needs and to optimize the use of technology
- Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services which includes monitoring systems performance
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of IT systems
- Oversee newly intigrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool. Responsible for the creation and design of the ERP system solutions architecture and implementation.
- Develops and maintains relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
- Facilitates IT security audits or investigations
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree as a minimum, preferably in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ IT experience; with 3+ years leading an IT Team, building strategic plans and successful execution
- Project or program management certification and/or lean process improvement (i.e., Six Sigma) certification preferred but not required..
- Working IT knowledge of Cloud Platform, Web based skills, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Cyber Security and Business Continuity Concepts. Ability to assess needs relating to hardware, software, SAAS and Helpdesk.
- Previous experience delivering complex ERP systems solutions. Successfully led a complex, full-lifecycle ERP implementation(s) for Finance and Operations/Supply Chain.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in the office fulltime - no relocation will be considered
Compensation : Base salary 180-215K based on experience + 15% performance bonus and full employee benefits.
