Our client is a leading provider of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Tolling, Traffic Engineering, and Transportation Planning and Engineering consulting services. They are seeking a highly-motivated Senior ITS Engineer experienced in performing varying tasks related to ITS and Tolling design, plan development, plan review, specification writing, and technical report writing.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an ONSITE position and REQUIRES Intelligent Transportation Systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan development, plan reviews, design calculations, field surveys, technical writing, and construction services related to various aspects of ITS and Tolling.
• Experienced in all project aspects from the early planning stages to the project completion, including PS&E development and construction design services for both design-bid-build and design-build projects.
• Planning, design, review, and construction inspection experience in large scale ITS and Traffic Signal deployments.

Requirements

• BS or MS Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
• PE License required
• NCEES Record preferred
• ITS, tolling, fiber optic communications network, electrical wiring, and construction staging experience required
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Experience with GDOT ITS and Tolling standards
• Familiarity with PennDOT/PANYNJ/VDOT standards, MUTCD, and AASHTO guidelines
• General experience in MidAtlantic DOTs and/or Tolling Agencies
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation
