Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Security Administrator to join our client's team and ensure the effective management and operation of security tools and platforms. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on administrator-level expertise with security technologies and will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure the organization's security posture remains robust and effective.


This is a 12-month full-time project on W2 requiring 3 days per week on-site in Fountain Valley, CA

MUST HAVE: Cisco ISE, Zscaler, and Imperva

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) and Cisco Firepower systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage Zscaler solutions, including configuration, policy updates, and user support.
  • Oversee and operate Imperva tools to protect and monitor data and applications.
  • Administer Sectigo certificate management solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Operate and manage Rapid7 security tools, including vulnerability management and threat detection systems.
  • Perform routine system updates, patching, and troubleshooting for all assigned tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize security technologies.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide support for remediation efforts.
  • Generate and analyze reports to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrator role with the listed tools: Cisco ISE, Firepower, Zscaler, Imperva, Sectigo, and Rapid7.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Specialist, Zscaler certifications, or other security-related credentials) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing security tools in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation for improving operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI-DSS.
