System Engineer (Contract)

Location: Torrance Area

Contract Length: 2-4 months

We are looking for a System Engineer to support system upgrades and small-scale build projects. Local candidates are preferred, with occasional on-site visits (once a week). The role will initially be 4 days a week, potentially increasing to 5 days.

Responsibilities:

• Server Migration & Maintenance: Migrate legacy systems to modern platforms (e.g., Windows Server 2022), ensuring zero data loss and minimal disruption. Perform post-migration testing and validation.
• Authentication Systems Development: Design and deploy an authentication server integrating with Azure Active Directory (AAD), and configure secure protocols for Cisco and FortiGate devices. Enable synchronization to platforms like Meraki.
• Maintenance & Support: Create maintenance plans, perform updates, backups, and monitoring. Provide detailed documentation and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with IT teams.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Fortinet NSE Certification
