The role:

This exciting opportunity involves managing and overseeing technical projects related to cutting-edge technologies in advanced systems and innovative missions. The role blends technical expertise with project management skills to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  • Execution: Lead project execution, ensuring alignment with technical requirements while managing resources and tasks effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively to support successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring solutions meet quality and technical specifications.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and quality assurance to achieve project objectives.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed project records, including plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years in project management, particularly in technical fields.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development, IT systems, or engineering projects.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and tools like Jira or MS Project.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at addressing complex challenges with effective solutions.
  • Certifications: Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 are required.
  • Clearance: Must be eligible for U.S. Government security clearance (Secret/TS/SCI).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in managing large-scale, complex technical projects.
  • Advanced Skills: Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and advanced project management tools.
  • Technical Focus: Knowledge of technologies related to complex systems or advanced missions.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications such as PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster.
  • Industry Experience: Background in aerospace, defense, or advanced technology sectors.
