Job Description: The IT Support Specialist will provide comprehensive support for all PC, network, and server hardware and software applications. This includes troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance of various technologies to ensure smooth operations for end users and facilities.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support PC, network, and server hardware/software, including Lotus Notes, MS Outlook, MS Office, and Cisco Network Hardware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; escalate complex problems to Lead Administrators.
- Assist with product evaluation, selection, and deployment.
- Setup, deploy, and support mobile devices and warehouse technologies (printers, RF units, terminals).
- Monitor on-site IS systems, including backups and server/network equipment.
- Provide remote support to facilities and associates.
- Conduct end-user training and learning sessions.
- Maintain technical documentation and spare inventory.
- Collaborate with external vendors for additional support.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in technology planning.
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Technical degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Proficiency in Lotus Notes and LanDesk technologies.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with mobile device management.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and server management.
- Knowledge of RF equipment and facility cabling.
- Certifications in relevant IT support fields.
