We seek a highly skilled and visionary Technical Architect to lead our team focused on exploring and integrating emerging technologies into our solutions. This role is pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and deploying cutting-edge technologies that can provide competitive advantages to our clients in the P&C industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in technology and architecture and a keen insight into the future of IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the exploration and evaluation of emerging technologies, including but not limited to AI, AR/VR, IoT, and cloud advancements, to assess their viability and potential impact on the P&C industry.
- Design and architect solutions that integrate new technologies into existing systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software development, and operations, to drive the adoption of innovative technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of technology trends and developments and advise senior management on strategic technology directions and investments.
- This is a hands-on role and will require development at times.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles and patterns.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks relevant to emerging technologies (e.g., Python for AI, Solidity for blockchain).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate the potential of new technologies in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications:

- 8-10 yrs years of experience in software development and technology architecture, with at least 1-2 years focused on emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing new technologies in enterprise environments.
- Previous experience in the P&C industry is highly desirable but not required.
