Job Description

As a Software Release Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing software projects related to the company's proprietary Warehouse Execution System (WES). You’ll be responsible for overseeing project customization, timelines, and ensuring successful product releases on a global scale. The role demands collaboration across global teams, a keen focus on product quality, and the ability to manage the complexities of software deployment and upgrades within the warehouse execution systems and supply chain space.

Key duties include:

  • Plan and execute project plans for the regions and ensure all features and bugs are tracked for this time frame
  • Facilitating project launches on a global scale, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and maintaining comprehensive product documentation.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success and develop mitigation strategies
  • Assist in product release by writing documentation, training manuals and release notes
  • Communicate with daily standup meetings and ensure deliverables and product roadmap is tracking with the product manager
  • Report to stakeholders regular updates on project and product status as well as budget summaries
  • Managing and overseeing testing quality, and handling deployment feedback for product improvements.


Job Requirements:

  • Business or technical degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in software project management (Agile), strong understanding of WES, and proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • PMP/ScrumMaster certifications are a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a customer-focused approach.


This position can by hybrid with regular visits to the northern Cincinnati, Ohio office when needed.
