Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to manage both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including VMware, domain controllers, servers, and high-performance storage systems. This role involves supporting critical IT systems, managing infrastructure projects, and troubleshooting complex issues in Windows, Active Directory, VMware, and MS SQL environments. The position includes 24x7 on-call support as part of a team rotation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including VMware, domain controllers, servers, MS SQL, and high-performance storage solutions.
• Provide support for Microsoft servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, MS SharePoint, backup technologies, and Hyper-V/VMware environments.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex systems and environments.
• Lead infrastructure projects, focusing on VMware virtualization.
• Assist with network architecture and system performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system inefficiencies and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Work with managers to assess system needs and improvements.
• Mentor new Systems Engineers and ensure proper training.

Qualifications :

• 5+ years of IT experience, especially with network technologies (TCP/IP).
• Expert knowledge in Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, AD troubleshooting, and DHCP.
• Strong understanding of VMware, MS SQL, backup technologies, and Hyper-V environments.
• Proven experience managing complex Windows and VMware environments.
• Experience with server infrastructure projects and virtualization.
• Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as SCADA, DCS, BAS, or PI Historian preferred.
