T3 Sixty has a client who is seeking a Broker of Record/Agency Director in Montreal (Canada).


The Broker of Record, Agency Director will serve as the key leader responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing day-to-day brokerage operations, and driving business growth.


The person in this role acts as a leader in best practices for real estate brokers and employees within the agency, serving as a key resource. Their skills position them as a compliance officer, setting an example for others to follow and playing a coaching and training role. They embody the responsibility for selecting, supervising, and disciplining license holders and employees of the agency.


Compensation: $100,000 CAD


Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the accuracy and compliance of contracts, disclosures, and other legal documentation, ensuring all brokerage activities comply with the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), provincial laws, and industry standards.
  2. Establish, maintain, and periodically revise the policies and procedures of the compliance program.
  3. Monitor compliance and risk management to reduce legal costs and exposure.
  4. Assist brokers in the agency with problematic situations.
  5. Work with company ownership and the leadership team to provide an exceptional client experience for the agent and the consumer.
  6. Consistently monitor market conditions, inventory levels, and stay informed about industry trends, technology and tools.
  7. Meet or exceed key metrics and outcomes as defined by the company ownership and the leadership team.
  8. Plan for their replacement in case of absence or inability to act to ensure continuity in the application of the compliance program.


Minimum Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years real estate sales experience, including 3 years of management
  • Must be a registered broker of record with OACIQ
  • Strong track record of successfully mentoring and managing real estate agents and driving team performance
  • A good understanding of the legislative and regulatory framework applicable to license holders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A criminal background check and a credit check as required to be acceptable to OACIQ
