LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a full-time, permanent position in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will support attorneys with a variety of tasks, including drafting and formatting legal documents and correspondence, filing and e-filing in state and federal courts, maintaining case files, legal research, and record management. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks like scanning documents, expense reporting, attorney time entry, scheduling meetings, and monitoring deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and format legal documents and correspondence
- File and e-file in state and federal courts
- Maintain case files both electronically and manually
- Perform legal research and manage records
- Support administrative tasks such as document scanning, scheduling, and timekeeping
- Monitor deadlines and provide general office support
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience (construction litigation preferred)
- Strong computer proficiency (MS Office, document management software, and internet research)
- Knowledge of federal and state filing/e-filing procedures and calendaring
- Strong organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a “no-job-too-small” mindset
Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year
