AMLaw 200 law firm located in the financial district in NYC seeks a Lateral Recruitment Coordinator or Specialist. This position reports to the Chief Strategy Office and Director of Business Operations and will be responsible for coordinating all phases of lateral partner recruiting for the New York, Washington, DC, Charlotte and London offices. This individual will work closely with the Managing Partner, Department Chairs and Chief Operating Officer to achieve the firm’s strategic goals with respect to lateral partner hiring.
Responsibilities :
- Works directly with lead partners throughout each candidate’s recruitment process
- Builds relationships with headhunters, communicates with headhunters regarding firm needs and individual candidates
- Schedules virtual and in-person candidate interviews and collects evaluations and feedback
- Greets and escorts candidates to in-person interviews, greets candidates during virtual interviews and monitors candidate interviews to ensure process runs smoothly
- Assists with the candidate due diligence process
- Maintains applicant tracking database and electronic candidate files
- Coordinates onboarding logistics for lateral partners
- Processes invoices
- Conducts research and assists with data collection
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years’ experience working in a professional office environment
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, take initiative and work independently
Must be able to build strong relationships internally and externally and have excellent interpersonal skills
Must have outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to act in a professional manner and exercise sound judgment
Excellent computer skills
This position is hybrid: 4 days in office/1 day WFH. Salary 70-85K (Coordinator), 90-120K exempt (Specialist).
