A prominent Title Insurance Group is seeking an escrow professional eager to join a fun, busy, and dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the real estate industry. As an Escrow Assistant, you will support the Kent Branch Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Opening escrow and title orders, inputting complete and accurate data into the escrow software system
- Determining escrow requirements by reviewing and understanding terms of the purchase and sale agreement and other instructions addressed to Escrow
- Gathers client and financial information, clears title defects, and satisfies existing lien encumbrances
- Responding in a timely manner to information requests via phone or email from clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties.
- Conduct and coordinate escrow signings, assist with closings, and complete the handling of client funds.
- Disbursement of funds in the escrow file
- Following up on and clearing all post-closing items

- Good technical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
