Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Base Build Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the effective maintenance and repair of electrical systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and controls.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
  • Assist in the installation of new electrical systems as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure all systems are functioning properly.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
  • Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in the electrical field.Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Audit compliance: Ensuring that maintenance processes and activities meet specified standards, regulations, and best practices. This may involve reviewing maintenance records, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
