Are you an experienced Real Estate Paralegal looking to join a dynamic team? Matura Farrington is partnering with a fantastic Downtown LA firm that is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support their Real Estate practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate deals, including pre- and post-closing duties, while contributing to the success of the firm's clients and team.

What You’ll Do:

• Title, Survey, and Zoning: Review title exception documents, draft title memos, negotiate pro forma title insurance policies, and coordinate zoning reports.
• Leasing: Draft leases, amendments, and other leasing documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational Documents: Prepare, review, and file organizational documents, obtain EINs, and handle business qualifications in various states.
• Loans and Transactions: Prepare closing checklists, draft agreements, review judgment/lien searches, and finalize documents for closings.
• Closing & Post-Closing: Oversee signature logistics, coordinate with title companies, file UCC financing statements, and prepare closing binders.
• Due Diligence & Logistics: Participate in checklist calls, coordinate closing logistics, and manage communication with clients and title companies.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 5+ years of paralegal experience , with substantial expertise in commercial real estate and/or real estate lending .
• Knowledge of title insurance policies, lease agreements, and organizational documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and candidates must meet California statutory paralegal requirements.
