Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily activities of construction teams.
- Organize and communicate project schedules with vendors.
- Ensure fiber optic construction follows customer and industry standards.
- Visit job sites to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and city officials about project updates or delays.
- Submit daily progress reports using Sitetracker.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Support inventory management for materials needed for construction.
- Perform quality inspections of completed work.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of fiber optic network installation (aerial and underground).
- Ability to read and understand fiber optic construction plans.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid US Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physical settings.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction or fiber optic projects preferred.
