Job Description:

Hexaware is currently seeking a dedicated Tech PM / Scrum Master to lead our infrastructure projects in McLean, VA (Day 1 Onsite 3 Days onsite 2 Days Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Tech Project Manager and Scrum Master with a strong background in Java and application development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex software projects, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Java technologies and app development processes, along with expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Scrum Master Duties: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) and ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.

Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and motivate a team of developers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across all project phases.

Technical Expertise: Utilize your Java and app development expertise to provide technical guidance and support to the development team.

Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project success.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with client expectations.

Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in project management and Scrum Master roles, with a focus on Java and application development.

Strong knowledge of Java programming and app development frameworks.

Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
