The Director of Technology leads the IT department, overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and infrastructure. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and IT partners to align technology solutions with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee IT infrastructure and applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage all stages of the development lifecycle for new projects and maintain existing programs.
- Prioritize short- and long-term goals in collaboration with the Vice President of Gaming Operations.
- Ensure timely updates and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and address corporate security risks.
- Supervise helpdesk operations and ensure prompt resolution of reported issues.
- Lead technical projects, including network delivery, development, and disaster recovery processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and provide strategic input on new products and IT enhancements.
- Prepare budgets and capital project proposals for senior executives.
- Improve IT procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and a guest-focused attitude.
- Develop strong, positive relationships with team members, guests, and vendors.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct IT experience, with proficiency in:
- O365/M365 (Office Applications, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams)
- Networking (Layer 2/3, VLANs, routing, Wi-Fi, firewalls)
- VOIP systems, Point of Sale systems, PC hardware, and desktop system troubleshooting
- Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2008–2022) and desktop OS (Windows 10/11)
- Office 365 Administration, Azure AD/Entra, and domain administration (GPOs)
- Backup/recovery processes and virtualization tools (Hyper-V, VMware)
- Strong knowledge of antivirus and email filtering tools (SentinelOne, Malware Bytes).
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid NH Lottery Commission license.
