Position Overview: As an Equity Research Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the investment decision-making process by conducting in-depth research and analysis on small-cap healthcare companies. You will join the team in St. Louis, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive the investment strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on small-cap healthcare companies, including financial statement analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape assessment.
  • Develop detailed financial models to forecast company performance and valuation.
  • Prepare and present research reports, investment theses, and recommendations to the investment team.
  • Monitor and track industry news, regulatory changes, and market trends impacting the healthcare sector.
  • Participate in meetings with company management, industry experts, and other stakeholders to gather insights and validate research findings.
  • Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to support investment decision-making and portfolio management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA designation preferred.
  • REQUIRED 2-5 years of experience in equity research, on the buyside, with a focus on healthcare companies.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
