Position Summary:

As a Commercial Litigator , you will work closely with our clients in the financial services sector and other industries, representing them in complex commercial litigation matters across state, federal, and appellate courts. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with expertise in preparing legal documents, developing strategies for discovery, and representing clients through all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including financial institutions, in state, federal, and appellate actions.
• Draft legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, and pleadings.
• Assist in the development of litigation strategies, including written and deposition discovery.
• Participate in the preparation and execution of trial strategies and evidentiary hearings.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial litigation , with experience in financial services litigation being a plus but not required.
• Active and good standing license to practice law in Mississippi . Licenses in Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and/or Texas are a strong plus.
• Proven experience in drafting legal documents, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Federal court experience is highly preferred.
