Responsibilities
- Works closely with the Sr. Manager of Pricing to optimize Aspen Dental’s pricing and discounting strategy across Aspen’s 1,100+ practices
- Reviews monthly pricing/discounting performance, and compares it to forecast, highlighting major variances and commenting on causes
- Provides quarterly and annual analyses for Senior Management
- Creates ad hoc reports and analysis as requested
- Has full understanding of how key metrics are derived and what they imply
- Applies strong problem-solving skills to analyze business performance, highlight areas of opportunity, and develop insights to support business decision-making
- Develops financial modeling to gain insights and provide recommendations
- Involved in creation and distribution of reporting and data visualizations to the field offices
- Custom builds and models complex data sets based on various business needs
Minimum Education and Experience
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting or other business discipline required
- 1-3 years of experience in financial/data analysis, or other reporting required
- Has demonstrated ability to review large data files for accuracy and completion
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel required, Powerpoint experience preferred
- SQL, BigQuery, or other data querying software experience also preferred
- Tableau, PowerBI or other visualization software experience is plus
- Has ability to excel in fast paced environment, take direction, and handle multiple priorities
- Annual pay range: $75-85k
