Objective
The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for preparing the annual training plan and ensuring efficient and effective training requirements are met for the plant. The role will support the plants in both Dickson Tennessee and Glasgow Kentucky with travel required.
Main Responsibilities
Prepare the annual training plan corresponding to the plant. Consolidate business (CoE) and plant-specific needs, as well as legal compliance, in a single document.
PAC execution; Organize the logistics of the courses (room, coffee break, attendance list, invitation and closing in LMS, etc.). Ensure attendance compliance according to the annual training plan.
Upload the LMS report with the courses that were taught at the end of the year on the platform.
Ensure the competence of unionized personnel by auditing leaders in the CST, skills matrix, and training plan formats.
Approve or decline category flows for unionized personnel according to the guidelines corresponding to the position and area.
Attend internal and external audits. Demonstrate adherence to our methods.
Position Requirements
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications
At least 3 years’ relevant experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Engineering or related
