We are hiring a Demand Planner to join a top beauty company in St. Petersburg, FL. This position will run for 12 months with the potential to extend and will be based fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Determine product volume needs using historical sales and future promo strategies.
- Develop forecasts by analyzing sales trends and using statistical models in Excel and Anaplan.
- Collaborate with teams to understand the impact of product promotions on demand.
- Align demand projections with cross-functional teams.
- Present forecast analytics to Senior Leadership.
- Prepare and maintain ad-hoc demand planning reports.
- Analyze and adjust strategies based on sales performance.
- Work with Category Management partners on product sales strategies.
- Maintain key performance metrics like forecast accuracy, inventory, sales, and margin.
- Provide analysis and recommendations on launches/promotions to Category Management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory.
- Identify opportunities to improve margin.
- Work with Category Management to minimize unproductive inventory.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in planning, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or data analytics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Strong math and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems and forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player, able to work independently and in a team environment.
