We are growing rapidly and are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our Team!

As our Analytics Engineer you will collaborate with stakeholders across operations, safety, HR, fleet, and finance/accounting, providing analytical insights and tools to drive decision-making. A primary focus of your role will be on consolidating and analyzing financial data, supporting M&A activities, and enhancing periodic financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-savvy professional with strong finance or accounting expertise to impact multiple facets of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across business verticals to deliver data insights and tools.
• Consolidate and integrate financial data from acquired companies.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support M&A initiatives.
• Create dynamic Power BI dashboards to support operations, safety, HR, fleet, and finance.
• Automate reporting processes using Python and SQL.
• Gain proficiency in tools like Sage Intacct and Solver to optimize workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Management Information System, Accounting/Finance, or similar, preferred
• A minimum of 3 years in an advanced finance/accounting role as a CPA, CFA, or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience of data analysis and automation utilizing Python
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Strong experience building dashboards and visualizations utilization Power BI
• Exceptional project management and communication skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams

Preferred skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with Azure data services and cloud-based tools
• Experience with financial software, preferably Sage Intacct and Solver .
• Prior experience in the transportation, waste management, or a similar industry

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Able to speak with customers/location teams on the phone.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
