Procurement Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90007 (Primarily remote, in-office Tuesdays)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $73,000 - $80,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Note: Demonstrated experience in construction and facility procurement is required.

Position Overview:

Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for construction and facility management? A prestigious private higher education institution in Los Angeles is seeking a dynamic Procurement Specialist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction & Facilities Procurement: Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction and facility management projects.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to address procurement requirements.
• RFx Management: Lead RFx events, including documentation, scoring, and cost analysis.
• Contract Oversight: Draft and review contracts, including statements of work and compliance requirements.
• Supplier Negotiations: Leverage market intelligence for pricing and terms.
• Compliance & Problem-Solving: Ensure adherence to policies and resolve procurement challenges.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of procurement experience, including ERP systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle/SAP).
• Expertise in construction and facility procurement.
• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s in Business, 3+ years of higher education procurement experience.
• Certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM).
