Who We Are Looking For:

We are currently seeking a Product Development Assistant to work at our South Hackensack, NJ Office . This is a full-time position in our office working 5 days a week. The candidate must be proficient in Excel, have excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented, and a team player. We will consider new grads with a Bachelors' degree in a fashion related major, but experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

·      Create initial cads and tech packs

·      Revise and recolor cads and artwork as needed

·      Maintain styles in PLM and upload to SAP

·      Measuring samples and adding the measurements in the system

·      Putting samples on fitting forms and coordinate styles for live fittings

·      Taking pictures of the product and uploading the images into the system

·      Log in, maintain, and manage all samples and the showroom

·      Creating and maintaining charts- sample charts, catalog charts, price comparison charts, retail price chart, etc.

·      Assist in fabric sourcing- sending submits, coordinating comments, creating binders with approved trims and swatches

·      Pulling samples for requests as needed

·      Submitting samples to photo department as required

Skills and Requirements:

·      Bachelor’s degree required

·      Must possess exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

·      Ability to remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient while under pressure is crucial

·      Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

·      Ability to prioritize, multi task, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines

·      Encompass a positive attitude, good work ethic, and exceptional follow up skills

·      Must have the ability to be punctual, prepared, and professional
