What will you do?
- Liaise with R&D Scientists to fully understand formulation, processing, batching, packaging.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in laboratory and pilot plant and lift 50lbs
- Responsible of fulfilling sample requests • Maintain individual stock of raw materials to batch sample product quickly (within 24 hours)
- Demonstrate a scientific curiosity.
- Employ efficient time management techniques
- Must be able to taste and smell chemicals, flavors and food products.
- Participate in sensory panels and other developmental opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned pertaining to business/project needs.
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Good math skills for problem-solving calculations.
- Demonstrates strong and discerning sense of smell and taste.
- Comfortable working in pilot plant. This position requires a significant amount of time working in pilot plant.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $51,261 to $75,160 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
