Job Title: Tooling Manager

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

• The qualified candidate will work with the Sr. Tooling Manager to produce solid models in CATIA of casting/gating systems. In addition, they will complete flow and solidification analysis to optimize gating utilization (NOVACAST).
• The ideal candidate must be able to communicate through all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
• This position will coordinate new product sample schedules between tooling suppliers, sales, QA and production to meet customer requirements.
• Must have a proven track record to evaluate sample products and implement effective countermeasures for casting defects if needed.

Requirements:

• Associates degree, but a Bachelor degree is strongly preferred
• 5-7 years of tooling experience
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 Software
• Proven skills in using Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• Experience in an automotive OEM environment.
• Experience using NOVACAST Software
