Job Title: Director of Personal Lines

Location: Worcester, Wellesley, or Franklin (Travel Required)

Compensation: $125,000-$145,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Personal Lines to oversee and lead our Personal Lines Department across multiple locations. This role is key to driving operational excellence, fostering team development, and achieving strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership : Manage day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  • Process Optimization : Develop, implement, and refine workflows to enhance departmental productivity.
  • Growth Strategy : Identify and execute initiatives to drive growth, including cross-selling and expanding client coverage.
  • Team Development : Mentor and support Supervisors, Client Advocates, and Account Managers to build a high-performing team.
  • Goal Achievement : Lead the team to meet or exceed agency goals and performance targets.
  • Client Service : Continuously improve the client experience and uphold exceptional customer service standards.
  • Performance Analysis : Monitor monthly reports to evaluate progress and ensure departmental objectives are met.
  • Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers.
  • Training and Development : Conduct regular training on agency management systems and carrier platforms.
  • Staff Management : Oversee annual evaluations, support professional development, and participate in recruitment and onboarding.
  • Account Management : Assist with account-related tasks as needed.
  • Additional Duties : Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Personal Lines insurance.
  • Active MA Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with Applied Epic.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional problem-solving and customer service abilities.
