Associate Attorney- Construction & Design Law
Location: Seattle, WA
This is a direct-hire opportunity paying between $205,000 - $235,000 (based on experience).
We are seeking a Construction & Design Associate with two to three years of construction law/litigation or government contracting experience to join our client’s Construction and Design Practice Group in their Seattle office. This position will involve a range of legal work, representing public and private owners, general contractors, and engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in pre-project planning, risk assessment, contract drafting, and claim management.
- Manage and preserve construction-related claims.
- Handle construction law litigation, including dispute resolution and trials.
- Provide legal advice to public and private owners, contractors, and engineers.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with construction regulations and contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualified candidates will have:
- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Two to three years of construction law/litigation or government contracting experience.
- Washington bar admission.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Ability to handle complex legal matters and disputes.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $205,000 - $235,000 (based on experience).
- Option for a lower billable-hours track with proportional salary reduction.
