Job Description/Responsibilities
- Promote flyADVANCEDs commitment to exemplary service and quality by the successful execution of the duties assigned.
- Coordination with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments such as flight operations, maintenance, and customer service to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Training and Development: Train new employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and customer service standards. Provide continuous training on equipment and procedures.
- Inspection of Equipment: Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of ground support equipment (fuel trucks, tugs, etc.) to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Maintain Equipment and Facilities: Supervise the upkeep of line service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks, and ground power units.
- Log Activities: Keep detailed records of services performed, including fueling logs, equipment use, and incidents.
- The Line Service Supervisor is to greet, park, tow, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp area.
- Provide pre-arrival, arrival, and departure assistance for flight departments and passengers visiting our FBO.
- Provide shuttle service for passengers/crew as required.
- Provide coffee and water service as requested.
- Fuel aircraft as requested.
- Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed.
- Assist with general cleaning and cleaning of debris from ramp, building and customer areas.
- Assist with wing-walking duties as required
- Operate radios for advisory and non-flight services.
- Comply with company policies related to customer service standards and airfield procedures including safety and security.
- Assist with customer service duties as required. Accurately process and record all credit card, check, and cash sales/purchases, which include issuing a receipt.
- Assist with general cleaning and cleaning of debris and snow removal from ramp, building and customer areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills
- Must possess strong interpersonal and verbal skills.
- Must be courteous and conscience of client needs.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, such as snow, sleet, rain and hot/cold temperatures.
- Must have a valid state issued driver’s license.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, with customer-friendly attitude.
- Previous experience highly preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
