Advantage Tech is searching for a Sr. Solution Design Owner (Supply Chain) to join their team based out of De Soto, KS.
As a Solution Design Owner you will own the global solution design and architecture focusing to supply having processes, like order fulfillment, procurement, production planning and inventory management. Your special knowhow can focus on some of the these process area(s), but you need to have general knowledge on the supply chain processes end to end perspective.
Reporting to the Senior Solution Manager, Fusion ERP, you will drive and support solution implementation in both projects and in continuous improvement based on the business priorities and transformation roadmap. You will partner directly with the Global Process Owners on supply chain areas, facilitating the solution design work, including overall architecture.
To be successful, you should have experience facilitating or implementing ERP solutions - Oracle Fusion Cloud knowledge is must. You should also have strong communication and change management skills, along with a continuous improvement mindset.
Essential Functions
• Together with your SDO colleagues owning global Supply Chain design to fulfill business needs originating from operating model(s) based on industry best practices and out-of-box functionalities in ERP & surrounding systems
• Owning solution design documentation and technical specifications therefore a considerable technical competence will be required to ensure the company having a robust solution.
• Ensuring the integrity of both the ERP solution design and the wider end to end solution
• Securing integrations with other functions and connected applications are performing as expected
• Facilitating the solution design work including architecture in own solution area
• Driving standardization where feasible and minimizing global / local variants to where variance is needed to address genuine business differences
• Monitoring product roadmaps and quarterly upgrades to identify new capabilities valuable for the client's business or allowing process improvements, and with respective Global Process Owners, proactively proposing them to be applied
• Contributing to solution support & change request process
• Contributing to competency development and training of the process network and specialists in the process area
Job Qualifications
• Relevant Bachelor or Master’s level degree
• Relevant working experience 5+ years
• Expertise of the solution domain within supply chain
• Understanding of the ERP and other IT system capabilities and out-of-the-box functionalities, preferably with the Oracle ERP platform
• Knowledge of industry best-practices and continuous learning from external sources
• Networking, network facilitation and co-creation in international environment
• Business communication and change management, influence without direct authority
• Ability drive delivery execution with AMS partner and other solution providers
• Solution design and implementation experience
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Basic Project Management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into solution capabilities
• Ability to visualize and document concepts into easily communicated way
