Must-haves

• 8+ years of estimating, engineering, or trade experience related to mechanical constructions
• 8+ years of knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
• Strong experience reading blueprints
• 8+ years of advanced understanding and experience with the proposal interview process
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes
• Prepare detailed MEP estimates (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) for construction projects across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and governmental

Plusses:

• OSHA 10 or 30
• Experience working with subcontractors
• PMP Certification
• Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent year's experience.

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking to hire a Chief Estimator, where you will prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for one or more disciplines, including the determination of applicable project plans and specifications. Requires advanced knowledge of two or more disciplines, which could be plumbing, piping or sheet metal systems. Will independently estimate plan/spec, design assist or design build projects of all types and sizes.

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 dependent upon experience
