Details:
• Contract to hire – 12-month contract to start but full-time conversion can happen any time at or after 6 months.
• Contract rate is $58/hr with medical, vision, dental, and 401k benefits offered.
• On-site in Montgomery, AL.
Must-Have Experience & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• General Contracting experience is preferred due to the work being done such as trade work (mechanical and electrical)
• Great organization skills and ability to guide clients in the right scope for a construction projects. • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects moving at one time.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Manage all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety & risk) with little oversight from leadership • Self-Starter, does not need to be micromanaged
• Well-spoken and can be in front of the Client, i.e. can sell work.
• Good communicator and knows when to elevate issues.
• Flexible and nimble when it comes to working through issues, know the end goal.
• Good follow-up, follow through, and knowing next steps for cradle to grave management of Projects.
• Do whatever it takes mentality, if you have to show up on a Saturday or Sunday every once in a while, show-up. Quality improvement or ground up construction experience would be beneficial. HVAC and chiller, Mechanical, pluming, and electrical projects
