Job Description:

  • Primary responsibility is to build and maintain level 4 construction schedules in P6 with a portfolio of projects working in conjunction with Work Packaging planning team.
  • Update of schedules following ongoing construction work and general schedule maintenance/improvements.
  • Develop initial construction schedules for projects during Feed and Detailed Design in conjunction with engineering scheduler.
  • Provides initial planning/scheduling constructibility reviews during early engineering phases.
  • Day-to-day activities for the development, maintaining, monitoring, controlling and integrating of the overall Project schedule including putting in place the progress measurement system, verification and reporting.
  • Reviews Contractor Schedules for usefulness, logic, level of detail, input sources, timing, lines of communication, and interfaces with other project elements and consistency with Current Control Estimate, Work Breakdown Structure, and the Project Plan.
  • Develop and document Schedules annual and multi-year, and ensuring that these products reflect the approved project design/execution scope.
  • Analyze schedule trends, develop and review schedule forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on schedule implications of changes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management
  • 10+ years in Primavera Scheduling either in Small Cap construction Scheduling or Turn Around Scheduling
  • Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs
  • Experience in project controls with a focus on planning and schedule control
  • Technical discipline certifications commensurate with work experience
  • Ability to coordinate various mechanical resources according to schedule and plan.
