Our client is a local University in a department that focuses on supporting research while ensuring the humane and appropriate care for laboratory animals.
We are looking for a Lead Manager to oversee the implementation and management of Stratocore core management software for multiple core facilities. This role involves leading the deployment of the software, providing ongoing support, and ensuring smooth integration with other systems and tools across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Stratocore Implementation : Manage the implementation of Stratocore software for 18 OSRF core facilities, 10 BSD core facilities, and potentially up to 12 additional facilities. Work closely with the Stratocore project manager and technical directors to ensure the project stays on track and decisions are aligned.
- Provide Post-Implementation Support : Act as the main point of contact between core directors and Stratocore after the software is implemented. Address any questions or issues and escalate to Stratocore when needed.
- Develop Training Materials : Create training materials to ensure core facilities use Stratocore efficiently. Provide training and onboarding for new core facilities to ensure they are well-equipped to use the software.
- Assist with IACUC and Animal Operations System Transition : Help implement a new IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) and Animal Operations system. Collaborate with the Operations Manager, IACUC staff, and ARC staff to ensure a smooth transition.
- Ensure Equipment and Software Upkeep : Work with OSRF core directors to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and software is kept up-to-date.
- Drive System Integration : Lead efforts to align and integrate other applications, such as Huron and Stratocore, to improve the efficiency of ARC/OSRF operations.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Communication Skills : Ability to effectively communicate financial information to individuals without a financial background.
- Time Management : Strong ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities.
